BLUEBERRIES
We are working on planting blueberries, likely in spring '27, and they will take several years to grow into productive bushes. We will certainly keep you posted!
We will be using cutting edge organic practices by covering the entire crop with a fine mesh net, which keeps out teeny tiny fruit flies, all other bugs, and birds.
We do have about 100 retired plants from Sophie's childhood (pictured above), but they are overgrown and don't have the right soil pH anymore, so we harvest them for ourselves and to make jam, but don't sell the berries fresh.
